Significant Extremes
As climate became increasingly of interest due to measured changes in the earth climate system it became more important to track and understand climate events. In 2001 the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Climatic Data Center began illustrating 'Significant Climate Anomalies and Events' in a summary graph form. We have collected these graphs in this section to show the current and trending events.
