Overview
The Open Climate Lobby (OCL) was formed to create a way for the open source community to participate in raising awareness about the greatest challenge of our time, 'global warming'. This section will be used as a communication portal for participants in this great challenge.
The challenge is global warming.
- Global warming is occurring and human caused.
- Mankind can prevent worse case scenarios with meaningful action.
- Meaningful action requires the public and policy makers agree on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and carbon capture.
- Reducing energy consumption that produce greenhouse gases
- Efficient effective carbon capture and sequestration
- Public and policy makers need to understand the scope of the problem and what it means to human society.
Our goal is to give a direct means of communicating one message from the citizens of earth to the politicians and policy makers. We need a direct progressive carbon tax to reduce CO2 emissions.
